We’re located on Rainbow Drive in New Albany, easily accessible for families across Floyd County, Southern Indiana, and Louisville.

We offer classes for children starting at age two through young adults. We have a plethora of programs that are tailored to fit the dancer’s age and skill level.

Our classes include ballet, jazz, hip hop, pom, tap, lyrical, solos, duos, All-Star dance, recital dance, and performance dance.

Yes. Rainbow Dance Academy’s All-Star teams have won multiple National and Summit Championships and are recognized for their excellence across the region.

You can register online through our website or in person at the studio. A $35 non-refundable registration fee per student is required.

Female dancers must wear a uniform leotard with black shorts or a ballet skirt. Male dancers wear a uniform shirt with black pants. All proper dance shoes are required and available for purchase at RDA.

Tuition schedules vary depending on which program you are in, but we have a variety of programs set to fit all interest levels.

Yes. A recital fee applies to students participating in Session II. Costume details and fees vary by class and are shared in advance.

Our All-Star teams are competitive dance groups that train year-round, focusing on advanced technique, teamwork, and performance at regional and national competitions.

Yes. Each spring we hold our annual recital, allowing dancers to perform and celebrate their growth. And each winter, we hold our exciting Christmas Showcase, providing a second opportunity for dancers to showcase what they have learned.

Yes. Solos, duos, and small group opportunities are available by instructor recommendation or audition.

Our instructors are professionally trained dancers and experienced teachers. Many are former collegiate or professional performers. Our staff offers more than 100 years of experience in the world of dance and are professionally trained to share it.
